Welcome to Salon Kolokea! I want to ensure every visit is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, so I’ve put together a few salon policies to help everything run smoothly. These guidelines allow me to offer the best experience to every guest. Please take a moment to read through them, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Policies
Booking
ProceduresAppointments must be booked online, through my app, or by phone at least 72 hours in advance. Email appointment requests are not accepted.​
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance can be rescheduled at no charge.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will incur a 50% service fee
- Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged 100% of the service cost.
- Cancellations must be made by text or email and will only be honored once confirmed by the service provider.
Payment Methods
I accept most forms of payment, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and cash. However, I do not accept checks.
Gratuity Policy
Gratuities are appreciated but not required. Tips can be given in cash or added to your card at the end of your appointment.
Arrival Time Rules
Please arrive up to 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for consultation. Late arrivals may not be guaranteed the full appointment time.
Cell Phone Policy
Please be considerate of others and refrain from using speakerphone or making phone calls inside the salon.
Refund Policy
I stand behind my work, and if you are not satisfied, I will work with you to fix the issue, communication must happen within 48 hours of services received. However, I do not offer refunds for services rendered. Product purchases are refundable within 30 days if unused.
Pet/Service Animal Policy
While I love pets, I cannot allow non-service animals in the salon per state regulations. Service animals are always welcome with prior notification.
Service Policy
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Payment & Pricing Policy
I accept a variety of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, and I may require a deposit for certain services. All service prices are clearly listed, and discounts or promotions will be provided when applicable.
By using the services of Salon Kolokea or interacting with me, Dorothy Wrightsman, you agree to these policies and terms. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me directly.
Credit/Debit Card on File Policy
At Salon Kolokea, we require all clients to keep a valid credit or debit card on file to confirm and secure appointment bookings. By providing your card details, you agree to the following terms:
- Card on File Requirement: A valid credit or debit card must be provided at the time of booking any appointment. This card will be securely stored in our system for convenience and security.
- Payment for Services: Salon Kolokea reserves the right to charge the card on file for services rendered, including any applicable fees or charges for missed appointments, late cancellations, or rescheduling (as per salon policies).
- Policy Enforcement: Your card may also be charged to enforce salon policies, including but not limited to cancellation fees, no-show charges, or fees associated with any breach of our service agreements.

Holiday Cancellation & Rebooking Policy (November & December)
During the months of November and December, we will be implementing a special cancellation and rebooking policy to ensure availability during the busy holiday season. Please carefully review the following:

Rescheduling/Change Fee: A $25 fee will be applied for any changes or rescheduling of an appointment.

Cancellations or Rescheduling (72+ Hours Notice):

If a cancellation or rescheduling is made 72 hours or more in advance, a 50% service fee will be charged.
